Pillings

Mike, John and myself scouted the area south of Lake Nipissing yesterday. We were presented with a  perfect day.

I have always liked images of pillings and this is the first time I have had an opportunity to photograph them. I like the way that the pillings curve to lead the eye to the island.

The ice starts to melt suddenly on Lake Nipissing. Two days ago I was walking on this area. Thank goodness the water very shallow.
